JSW MG Motor India Announces 2% Price Increase from January 2026

JSW MG Motor India to Raise Vehicle Prices from January 2026

JSW MG Motor India has revealed that it will increase the prices of its vehicle range — including SUVs and electric models — by up to 2 per cent effective January 1, 2026. The company said the modest price adjustment reflects the ongoing pressures from rising manufacturing and supply chain costs that have impacted the automotive sector.

According to the announcement, the price revision will be applied across all models offered in India, with the actual hike varying by model and variant. This means popular SUVs like the Hector and Gloster, as well as electric vehicles such as the Windsor EV and Comet EV, will see adjusted ex‑showroom prices in the new year.

Industry observers note that even a relatively small increase of around 2 per cent can influence buyer decisions, especially in competitive market segments where rival brands are also recalibrating prices. Prospective buyers are being encouraged to take advantage of current year‑end deals before the new pricing takes effect.

This planned price revision aligns with actions taken by other automakers who have cited inflationary cost pressures and macroeconomic factors as reasons for similar adjustments ahead of 2026.
